The Digital  & Social Media Literacy blog was created in July 2012 by Geoffrey Graybeal, Ph.D. as an online resource for students enrolled in a two-week long college-level “Digital & Social Media Literacy” course through the University of Georgia’s Pre-College Summer Program.  The students in the course were rising high school juniors and seniors, but the material on this blog should be accessible to and of value to advanced high school students, college students, communications/journalism/digital & social media educators, practitioners and anyone with an interest in digital and social media.  Feel free to join the conversation. The blog is currently a public outlet for students enrolled in Dr. Graybeal’s “Introduction to Social Media” course in the School of Communication at the University of Hartford.
